15 Children Participated, Funds Donated by LENS for Shopping

 

For this event, children who have experienced violent crimes, or lost a loved one to a violent crime, got the chance go shopping for the day with a Charleston Police Officer. The goal of this event was to give children the chance to bond with officers and start to create strong, trusting relationships. LENS donated funds to provide each child with a budget to spend, with a Charleston Police Officer by their side!
